Tazkiyah (purification of the soul) is the study of a balanced approach and implementation of Islamic principles in everyday life. This science implements the practical aspects of spirituality as informed by the bounds of the Quran and authentic Sunnah. Students are taught practical applications of Islamic principles with the aim of closeness to Allah through purifying the heart and soul.

It is open to women and young girls from age 17 years old. We do not recommend it for anyone younger than this age.

Learning, reflection and practical tips to help purify ourselves and get closer to Allah (SWT).

A daily schedule will include 2-3 teaching sessions with Dr Haifaa Younis and learning how to apply these practically. The rest of the time, you will be free to rest, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and connect with sisters. We will be staying at a resort so you can go hiking or walk around the lake!

No, but it is highly recommended for those who are able to do so.

Yes, all meals will be provided.

Yes, it can be accommodated based on request if advised ahead of time. The meals are standardized. 

If you request to cancel, you have until August 17 2023 to do so for a full refund. After that, it is nonrefundable. 

It will be shared accommodation. You will have a cabin for sleeping and a very simple shared bathroom.
