What is the process after registering for an online class?
You will receive a confirmation email that registration is processed. You will receive another email that includes course details and instructions for how to join the class one week before classes begin.
What is the admission policy?
Students will be tested on their ability to read the Qur’an and are in accordance with each level of the course (when applicable). Students who do not qualify for acceptance in advanced courses are asked to enroll in a more basic reading course.
I’m already currently a student, do I have to re-enroll?
Yes, all students are to re-enroll at the beginning of each term.
Are new enrollments accepted during an ongoing semester?
All students are advised to enroll before the closing dates. In selected classes, conditional admissions are available on a case-to-case basis. Some classes have ongoing enrolment and registration may remain open on the website. Please refer to the Courses page for details.
Please enroll early to avoid disappointment as our Memorization and Tajweed class sizes are very small and class size will not increase once the set places are filled up.
Can I register for more than one class?
Yes, you may register for more than one class at a time.
I live in Saint Louis, can I enroll as an online student?
Yes, you may. All classes are currently conducted online.
Who do I contact to enroll or for more information?
What Forms of Payment does Jannah Institute accept?
Full payments should be made online through the JI Website during the registration process. We accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal.
What is the tuition policy?
Tuition must be paid by the semester in full prior to the first class. There are case-by-case exceptions for monthly payments in which fees are due on the 1st business day of each month. If tuition is not paid after 3 days of the 1st business day of the month, a late fee may be applied.
Do you offer sibling discount?
Yes, we offer a 25% sibling discount if siblings register at the same time.
You will need to provide your children’s names & details of the course (s) you wish to register them.
Is financial aid offered?
Yes, financial aid is offered on a case-by-case basis.

For financial aid consideration, the following information is required to be submitted along with the application:
Student’s most recent Federal tax form or W-2 form (if employed); or her dependent’s (if unemployed); or both- as applicable.

I registered for classes but wish to withdraw. What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are issued if requests are made up to one week before classes start. A 25% refund is issued after one week of start date. Course tuition is non-refundable after one week of start date. Please see JI Policies and Procedures for more details.
What if I miss a class?
We encourage students to make every effort to attend class. Please inform the main office at [email protected] with the reason for your absence. Also, please inform your instructor as soon as you know you will be missing a class, or soon after you are absent.
What are the office hours?
Our office hours are Sundaythrough Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM CST. To schedule an appointment please email [email protected]. If you reach out to us outside of these hours please give us 24-48 hours to respond.
Is Jannah Institute off for government holidays and breaks?
Jannah may be off on some government holidays, and is off on major holidays and breaks such as Eid break, Fall breaks, Winter break, and Spring break. Please contact [email protected] for more details.
How can I join the class?
Classes will be held live on Zoom (https://zoom.us/). You will be emailed the Meeting ID and Passcode to join your class once you register for the course and pay your tuition. Further details will be provided after registration.
Will I be able to ask questions during and after the class?
Yes, you are free to ask questions throughout the class as well as email any questions you may have after the class.
Should I expect quizzes and tests?
Yes. Students will receive quizzes and tests throughout the semester and varies with each instructor.
Will I receive a lesson plan for the class?
Yes. You will receive lesson plans on the first day of class.
What class materials do I need to bring to class?
Students should have note-taking materials such as a notebook, pencils, and pens. Students are encouraged to bring a Qur’an.
Will there be homework and is it required?
Homework assignments vary depending on the instructor. Please ask the instructor for more details regarding homework at the beginning of the term.
Will the classes be recorded?
Only the Islamic Studies and Quranic Arabic classes will be recorded and shared with students. Recordings may not be shared with anyone else.
How long will I have access to the recording?
All registered students in the Arabic classes, and in Islamic Studies courses will have access to the recording for 6 months, following the last day of the class.
Can my family members attend the class with me?
All students who attend the classes must be registered.
Can I have access to prior online/ onsite courses from previous years?
Will I receive a certificate at the completion of the class?
Yes, certificates are issued after successful completion of each class.
