About Dr Sh Haifaa Younis
Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis is an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with roots from Iraq. Her pursuit of Islamic knowledge began when she began to study with various Islamic scholars from across the United States while simultaneously focusing on Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadeeth, and Tazkiyah (purification of the soul). She graduated from the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies and Al-Huda Qurâan Memorization School (Jeddah) and holds an âijaza in Hafs through Asim from AlMadinah AlMunawarah.
Dr. Sh. Haifaa is the Founder and Chairman of Jannah Institute and currently teaches Year of Knowledge, a full-time foundational Islamic Studies program, and also conducts individual courses, retreats, and workshops in Irvine, CA. Dr. Sh. Haifaaâs passion lies in helping Muslim women take Islamic teachings off the page and into their daily lives.
