Course Description:

This course is a deep dive and crash course into environmental issues taught through the lens of Islam. Soil, habitat loss, water rights, ecosystem and species collapse, and waste are just a few of the environmental issues taught in a way that will leave you with a deep understanding of how the world functions and our role as Muslims in this all. Through Hadith and Sunnah practices, we will examine why we do the things we do and the gaps that need to be filled in order to co-habitat the earth in a way that is aligned in our Sunnah. Join Sama Wareh, Naturalist and ecologist and she unravels these topics through her own personal experiences in working with the environment and Muslim communities in different parts of the world.
