Course Description:

This is an intermediate level tajweed course that will be taught using Shaykhah Kareema Czerepinski's Tajweed Rules of the Quran Part 2 textbook. This is the 1st of two courses (Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 combined session, Summer 2024) covering this book.

In this course, students will learn:
- Accent in Recitation of the Quran (An-Nabr)
- Characteristics of the Arabic Letters
- Velarization and Attenuation
- Non-voweled Meem Rules
- Two Alike, Two Similar, Two Close, and Two Dissimilar to Each Other

Mandatory Prerequisites:

Students should be familiar with the topics covered in Shaykhah Kareema's first book in the Tajweed Rules of the Quran series. Student must be 14 years of age or older.
